Last Saturday of the month (and the year!) work party, December 31, 9:30am-12:00pm. Enjoy nature on the hill as we pull broom and small eucalyptus and plant a few natives grown from seed collected on Albany Hill. Gloves and tools provided. Long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes recommended. Free t-shirts for participants. Meet at the end of Jackson St. (turnaround). Heavy rain cancels. Call 510-289-5346 the morning of work party if unsure.
Directions: From San Pablo Ave in Albany go west on either Marin/Buchanan, Solano, Washington, or Castro St. After 3 blocks go right (north) on Jackson and follow to end. The trail from the east side of Albany Hill through the oak woodland comes out at the end of Jackson St as well.
